This movie was actually good. The action is solid, Carnage/Cleutus is a good villain, and the bromance between Eddie and venom is great. Another thing to note is that the pacing in this movie is surprisingly good. The movie doesn’t drag on, but doesn’t feel rushed at the same time. My only real complaints is that this movie could have definitely benefited from an R rating. The PG-13 rating doesn’t hurt the movie too much, but having Carnage with an R rating would have been legendary. Overall though, this movie takes all the best elements from the first and makes them even better. By the way, make sure you stay for the mid credits scene!
